2 Touch down: Easy does it, right hand down a bit
Geslin, 37, photographed the bees as they collected pollen from clover and yellow oilseed rape. He is fascinated by their industry: 'Bees keep their hive at a constant temperature - so if it's very hot, only some will remain inside and try to cool the temperature. When it's cold, they come in to try to warm up the hive for the queen and her eggs.
'They are fantastic, intriguing creatures. it is a tragedy that the species is in danger of collapse and we must do all we can to help.'
The bees did not sting him because he moved slowly and calmly as he took pictures. Geslin used a macro lens to get close-up pictures and flash to light up the detail.
You could say he gets a buzz out of all that.
