Una abeja rodeada de polen mientras cosecha néctar en un girasos e involuntariamente se ocupa de su polinización. Uno podría creer que el forrajeo del polen podría ser la causa principal de la polinización, pero en realidad la recolección de néctar es la que resulta ser más efectiva para la polinización
