Dear All,
If your practical and theoretical experience in Apitherapy is already so big that you can not keep it just for yourself, please consider sharing it by participating directly or indirectly to the largest Apitherapy event of 2014:
The First Congress of the International Federation of Apitherapy and the VII-th. Congress of the Romanian Apitherapy Society.
The event will be held in the center of Romania (in Brasov), in Aro-Palace Hotel (five stars hotel) between October 17 to 19 (23) this year.
Post Congress we offer several other events like intensive workshops and technical tours.

Call for Papers
The International Federation of Apitherapy (IFA) and the Romanian Apitherapy Society (RAS) invites the submission of abstracts for presentation at the next meeting that will be held in Brasov, Aro-Palace Hotel, Romania, from 17 to 19 October, 2014.
All participants interested in submitting abstracts must contact us as urgent as possible. Please note that the deadline for the receipt of abstracts is September 15, 2014. Abstracts received after that date will not be processed.
Important dates
• September 15, 2014: Deadline for submission of abstracts.
• September 20, 2014: Notification to authors.
• September 25, 2014: Deadline for authors’ registration.
• September 15, 2014: Deadline for submission of abstracts.
• September 20, 2014: Notification to authors.
• September 25, 2014: Deadline for authors’ registration.
Please note that at least one of the authors has to be registered to the Congress before September 25-th, 2014 in order to include the abstract in the final program and the proceedings.

Format Instructions for Abstracts
We recommend reading carefully all instructions before preparing your abstract.
Abstracts must be submitted in one of the following categories:
A = Medicinal Bee Flora
B = Bee Biology
C = Bio-Pharmacology of Bee Products
D = Clinical Apitherapy
E = Complementary to Apitherapy methods
Presentation preferences (oral or poster): please indicate your presentation preference for your abstract. All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee which will appoint the selected ones for either oral or poster presentation.
Oral presentations should fit to one of the topics of the Congress.
Preparation of abstracts:
- Number of words in abstracts: 300 maximum (headings not included). Abstracts with more than 300 words will not be accepted.
- Language: your mother tongue language and English
- Title: must not exceed 120 characters, without underlining or abbreviations.
- Authors: last name of authors should be in regular font with the first letter capitalized, followed by a comma and the initials followed by a period. Each author should be separated by a semicolon and text should be centered. Next line should state institution of origin including postal address, telephone, fax and e-mail. Institutions for several authors should be clearly indicated with numbers (superscripts), in the case that the companies be different.
- Software: all documents must be written in WORD (.doc only, not .docx format)

- Authors and their affiliations: must be in 11-point Arial font size, regular font, centered.
- Please leave a free line between the authors/institutions and the main text.
- Body text typing must be single interline space in 11-point Arial font size.
- Abstract must be fully justified continuous with no spaces.
- The paper size should be A4 (210 x 297 mm).
- The margins should be 2.5 cm
Text layout:

- It should contain no paragraphs, footnotes, references, cross-references to figures and tables.

1. The authors, the International Federation of Apitherapy and the Romanian Apitherapy Society hold joint copyright in respect of accepted abstracts and full papers.
2. After the congress, publication on other opportunities is permitted, provided the author declares that the paper was previously presented at the IFA’s Congress 2014 in Brasov, Romania.
3. All accepted papers will be published in a CD as part of the IFA’s Congress 2014 proceedings.
By submitting the paper, the author accepts the following conditions:
