Honey Tasting Workshops

Springtime greetings! Honey School is in session again and the AHTS is offering 2 new dates for our online honey tasting workshops. Spend three days (6 hours+) learning from honey sensory experts who are members of the Member Italian Register of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey. Attendees will receive a honey kit in the mail with exercises to wake up your senses, improve your ability to recognize the smells and flavors on the honey wheel and honey samples that have been tested and approved by the Italian Register of Honey Experts. This workshop includes power points and interactive exercises where we will learn the method to taste and evaluate honey and write detailed tasting notes for each honey. The secret to becoming a great honey taster is sensory training - learning the difference between taste, flavor and trigeminal sensations, a good memory and practice. Let's get started!
