Our first conference last year was such a smashing success we are looking forward to repeating the event in 2022. This year our theme is Natural Medicine for Anti Ageing.
So no matter which area you work in- herbal medicine, aromatherapy, science, health and wellness, we encourage you to join, contribute and share your knowledge.
Many of you in 2021 were there and participated, either as speakers, audience members or curious onlookers after the event. All of the 2021 presentaions are still on our website. You can see them here.
Our goal in 2021 was to introduce Apitherapy in Australia and raise awareness of the widespread international, traditional use of this powerful form of natural medicine.
The Australian Apitherapy Association is affiliated with the International Federation of Apitherapy and speakers are invited globally. Thanks to the powerhouse of the international Apitherapy family, our first conference was a great success and many of you around the globe have reached out offering support, kind wishes and even joined our association as a result. It is wonderful for Australia to be so connected to such a talented and innovative group!
The 2022 conference will again be held virtually via zoom platform and attendees from around the world are welcome to register for the conference and to offer papers including pre-recorded video presentations.
Significant scientific and medical work has been carried out in the world of bee medicine. Australia is a new participant, but we are keen to showcase the important work that is being conducted in many fields including cancer, arthritis, Covid19, medicinal beekeeping, veterinary treatments and skincare.
